Hi, I’m Tala – I’m a visual artist, experimenter, thinker and all around creative person. I started leading online workshops this fall and I realized that my favorite part was getting to create different homework assignments centered around my creative process for the week.

And so, I decided to create Homework – an ongoing workshop and online community for creatives looking for community and new ways to explore their practice. Every Monday, I’ll be uploading a new assignment to our group forum, as well as my process notes and observations from the week. There will be a space to share, engage with each others’ work, ask questions and discuss. Once a month, there will be a live show and tell.

This is a space to help hold each other accountable and build a place on the internet that is fun and collaborative and creatively generative! If you are looking for inspiration, community and new ways to engage with your artistic practice, Homework is a space for you!
